Joseph (Joe) Starzynski. I am a 16 year resident of Woodstock Illinois having moved from the north side of Chicago, where I grew up. I am the father of two boys, one 16 year-old and one in college. I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University. I have 11+ years of experience in finance, with 9 years in the mortgage lending industry. I was the recipient of the Corporation For Affordable Homes of McHenry County (CAHMCO) American Dream Award in 1999, recognizing my commitment to help first-time home buyers. That same year I received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from U.S. Congressman Donald Manzullo for service to the community. I am an active member of the Woodstock Noon Rotary Club and am currently serving as a board member of the McHenry County Defenders, a non-profit environmental education and advocacy organization.

My belief is that our reputations are the single most important asset we have. We work hard to get them and we have to work harder to keep them. Because of that commitment, I will do what I said I would do in the time frame and way I said I would do it.
